I finally have a broodie and she is on 12 eggs. She is a year and a half old BO. Now I know how big a broodie poop is

She sat for 7 hrs. 3 days ago then got off

then yesterday morning went to let them all out and she didn't come

sat till around 5 and came outside

ate,drank and did the biggest poo ever then went back in

she stayed on all day today and I put the food and a water right in front of her box so I think she is there for the long haul

Broody poop is one of the most awful, disgusting things ever, not to mention STINKY!!!!

I can't wait to see pictures, please share them. I loved my Broody and it was so cute to see her with the chicks!!

Good Luck! My broody hen just hatched off her eggs and right before she brought the babies out of the nest for the first time she made a HUGE broody poo in the nest box.
