Finally!

One of my hens finally went broody! I have 7 eggs under her as of yesterday and I am so excited! I put a couple blue eggs, several brown and a couple white ones. I can't wait to see what hatches out. This is much better than Christmas.

I am a little worried about her getting anything to drink though. It is pretty hot and humid. I am thinking of putting a bowl of water in the box with her.

she will get off when she needs to usually but a bowl of water real close by probably wouldnt hurt just dont make it deep or the peeps might drowned good luck

I know how you feel! I have my first broody and I just put fertile eggs under her this morning. It is a mixed batch of brown egg layers. I can't wait to see what we end up with!

My broody hen just hatched off 2 guinea eggs and they are soooo sweet! Oh and my other broody hatched off one day later with 3 little sweeties!!! Lots of fuzzies everywhere!!!
