I'm not a finch expert, so I thought I'd post my idea on here so other people can give advice.

I feed my parrots a mix of veggies in the morning and pellets in the evening. Any seeds are just reserved for treats. This has been working out great for me, so I thought I'd do something similar for my finches.

I currently only have three zebra finches, but I plan to get more zebras and perhaps more gouldians too (mine all died :(). But for now, I'd like to do this for the finches I've got.

My idea was to give my finches a roughly 50/50 mix of veggies and good quality seeds. For the vegetables, I was thinking of using broccoli, carrot, peas, squash, kale, beetroot, spinach and zucchini. According to what I've researched, they should be fine for finches, but I wanted to get another opinion. Do you think that these would be okay for my finches' daily diet? Are there any you think I shouldn't include or any other vegetables I should include? I'd love to hear you opinions.

It would look something like this (It would be a different mix though. This is my parrots' food).

Thanks in advance.
