Hello, we just lost, what I think was a female, from our young mute swan pair (hatched around May 10). We think the other was a male. They were given to us as eggs as the location in which the parents resided, did not allow any other swans. So, we were asked if we would be willing to take them. We have been fascinated by them and enjoy them immensely on our farm. Loosing the little female has been devastating and we are hoping to find another as company for the little male, which is around the same age. We are located in VA but I am traveling cross-country over the next few days and could pick one up, depending upon the location, if someone had one we could have or buy. Thank you.
