I will relocate a broody hen to a dog crate so she’s not bothered. I don’t have anything to use for bedding other than fine pine shavings. Is this okay for her to hatch her eggs in?

I’ve used shavings before and I had more shrink wrapped chicks, the shavings seemed to just suck up all the moisture. A mix of sand and shavings or just sand would be better.

Similar question here. I have bags of pine shavings I was using for goats, but don't currently have a need for. Some pieces are bigger, but there are some fine particles and dust. Would that be okay for 2 month old chicks? They're fully feathered.

Yes that’s fine. They are smart enough by then to know the shavings aren’t food.
