Fine wood chip bedding?

I have some fine wood chip bedding (pine). They are really small. I already cleaned my chicken coop already and don't have any other bedding for them. Will my chickens eat it and can I use it in my coop?

I've used both the fine and flake shavings. I prefer the flaked since it seems to cause less dust but never had a problem with the chickens eating either type.

My chickens do eat the bedding, but only the really small pieces.

fine or flake pine shavings are fine

Tractor Supply Company has both for purchase

fine is more dusty than flake and is smaller in size

but you can use it as bedding
