Ya, One nesting box for 4 would be fine.

If possible I would go with 2 nesting boxes. Sometimes they go on a laying frenzy where they all seem to want to lay at once.

I really love your coop!!!! Here is a picture of an external nest box from inside the coop and one from outside. My Mom loves being able to gather eggs from outside the coop.

What a great job you did with the idea and drawing and your hubby being able to whip it up.

Love the colors, flower boxes and the landscaping. You could plant some little evergreen bushes in front of the run and everyone would think it was a playhouse. (until someone starts crowing).
