Mind if I ask how you attached the hardware cloth to the cattle panels? I might try this.

We attached the hardware cloth to the cattle panels using zip ties, though I've seen it done with wire on other coops. Where the hardware cloth attached to the wood frame or the coop, we used screws with large washers.
Depending on how the zip ties hold up to the weather, I'll probably go back either later this summer or sometime next spring and use something metal like fencing loop fasteners.

I've used zip ties for many projects, including fencing. It wasn't until last year that I discovered extreme weather zip ties that are good well below zero -- handy to have where I live.
