Boy, I'm not sure... So far I don't think so. But, it's been a lot of work with zero eggs so far. Let's see if we can hold out until July and see what it's like with eggs around! (Grin)

No, to your question, I don't know, but I wanted to say "nice coop!!!"

It is the same size as the one my Dh is sloooowly building, and I like how you set up things inside....the roosts by the window look awesome!

Do you find that the chickens will swing either the feeder or waterer? I'd like to hang mine too, I think. Do you untie your ropes to take them down for filling/cleaning?

With the food, I just mix mash, wheat, corn, grit, and a little bit of DE in another bucket once a week, pop the lid off and pour it in the feed bucket. With the perches at 24" high, they don't seem to want to roost on the food bucket like they did when it was on the ground in my tractor, so I don’t get poop on the lid anymore. I also think the swinging rope and unsteadiness has something to do with it.

For the waterer, there's a little snap hook so I can take it down once a week, wash it out good, and fill it back up.
