Finished my small coop - detailed plans lots of pics

My girls just graduated from chick feeders & waterers to big girls utensils. I am currently using a 1 gal feeder and a 5 gallon waterer for 18 juvenile pullets. I have them hanging from the rafters on chains with huge S - hooks on each end. This allows me to access them easily for filling as well as adjust their height as the girls grow tall. I love the convenience and the simplicity and I no longer have to clean out pooh from either. What a time saver.

This brings up another question. Do they eat and drink at night after they go to roost? Currently I have these set up in the covered part of their run. I will have my new coop finished this weekend and will be moving the girls into their new home. Do I need to put additional feed and water in the coop for them at night? Or leave it in the run where it is now? I don't know please advise. linda//

Good question Linda.
I have my food and water in the coop, open the window and let them out all day long. I've seen them in the coop eating/drinking some during the day, but mostly outside. When they first go in at night, they do eat and drink some...

Anyone else have suggestions?
