First adventure outside

Took the new chicks outside for the first time today and they loved it! I love that my kids love chickens as much as I do.

that's wonderful! If you dig up a clod of that earth and pop it in the brooder with them, they'll love that too and gets lots of entertainment and exercise investigating it and taking it apart. And getting their first little inoculation of local soil-borne bugs while they're at it (that's a good thing).

Definitely going to do that as I’m in upstate NY and it’s still to cold to go on outside adventures most days right now!
