First blue egg!

Today I finally got my first true Ameraucana egg! They are 38 weeks and only 1 is laying! Hopefully all can lay soon. Right egg is new blue egg and the left is from one of my RIR

Maybe your color is off but it does look green.

Could you post a picture of your Ameraucana hen?
The egg does look greenish, maybe you have an EE?

This is the hen. She is a splash

She sure looks to be an Ameraucana ... The egg is probably blue but the picture turns it green

I will admit it looks greenish in real life but it is definitely and teal/turquoise mix

It's her first egg, like all new layers so maybe the color will change as she becomes a "pro" My BOs have been laying for a couple months, colors change but I can tell who laid by the shape of their eggs
