Tonight i went out to lock my birds away and i was missing one of my blue slate hens. I was worried i went looking around everywhere. I exspected the worst. I then realized that she might be sitting and she was! She has 3 under her... i wish there was more under her but it doesnt matter really because i have 9 in the bator due to hatch in 3 weeks. One thing that i dont understand is that she showed no signs of being broody. It was a random out of the blue thing. Do i need to look out for anything with broody turkeys? This is my first year with turkeys so i got no clue what to exspect!
