First chick hatched - something attached to vent

I just had my first ever chick hatch and is this normal?? Something is attached to the vent and string connecting to the egg still.

The chick has gotten up and sent the other eggs flying in there….

She keeps flailing around!

Ok cord has detached, but stuff still on its vent.

This is my first chick to hatch, I did not assist.

She looks good, healthy and alert. But still has stuff hanging there..

Looks like hatching residue or a tiny bit of yolk that didn't get fully absorbed before she finished zipping. She will either finish absorbing the yolk in the next few hours or it will harden and fall of on its own.
