So excited, and 5 tiny little beaks poking out.... Mama hen is doing so well at this! She is a light Sussex with adopted bantum eggs various types. The eggs were all labeled with the breed but now the chicks are coming out I don't know what is what! And no idea how to tell sex

when they are a few weeks old you can post photos of them on "what breed or gender is this."

I lost a chick.... The first one hatched I think mama may have squashed it by accident. And still have 4 eggs left with no sign of the cracks... Mama and 5 chicks are all looking fine, what do I do with these remaining eggs

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. If mom gets up with the chicks take the unhatched ones, hold them against your ear and tap them softly with your fingernail. You should be able to hear if there's a live chick in there. If there is keep the egg in a warm place (99*F or as near as possible to) and when the hen goes to sleep with the chicks slip the egg(s) back under her. Hopefully it will give them enough time to hatch. I have used this method with some success.
