First Chick!

My first chick hatched while I was at the grocery store! OMG he is so cute!!! This is day 19 so he is early, but he looks good!!! Gonna kill me to leave him alone! I want to pick him up and love him so bad! Gonna call him Pip! (If I can tell him apart from the others!) He's a Polish. Have a few other Polish eggs starting! Maran and BLRW are still cooking! Waay too cute!! I'm in love already!! Better quit calling the chick a he! Seems extra special that he came from my chickens!

I now have 3 polish chicks and another on the way! Yaay! I only have 5 polish eggs in the incubator, so that's great! Have a BLRW pipping- nothing on the Marans. Feeling encouraged by the hatches! This incubator has been in my mom's barn for just over 20 years!
