First Chicks Arrived!

5/16 hatch from Meyer. 11 SFH females, 2 SFH males, 1 Lavender Orpington female, and 1 Black Sumatra female. We did have one DOA, unfortunately, and had our first chicken first aid on a little one's beak.

Awesome! I just picked up 16 chicks this morning from the postal service myself and luckily none were DOA. So far mine are doing well. Did you get a free mystery chick with your order too?

I decided to go with the Black Sumatra instead due to space. What did up get?!

I got 6 silver leghorns, 4 brown leghorns, 3 jersey giants, 3 whiting true blues and one little yellow mystery chick. I'm hoping the mystery chick is a white sapphire (probably a roo) I got mine from McMurray Hatchery
