First Duck Egg

Yesterday one of my chickens laid there first egg and today my khaki laid her first one. There was a little blood on it. Is that normal for the first egg? She must have laid it right before I let them out of the house. It was still warm. She is just under 5 months.

Congrats on the eggs how cool for them to start on the same day..
And yes it is normal to see a little blood on an egg when they first begin to lay.
