My chickies are a week old. We made a little box-type deal with an open floor and put it outside on a brick base so they could be outside during the day, scratching and pecking. I went out to check on them a few minutes ago, and three of them were huddled together, lying on their sides, kicking about and ruffling their feathers and just acting CRAZY!! I was all,

"OMG, what's wrong with them?! Are their legs hurt? Are they having seizures??" Then I noticed that they were in the only patch of sandy dirt in the middle of the box. After thinking about it for a minute, I realized that they must be dust bathing. It started raining, so I brought them in, and they're acting totally normal now, so I guess there's nothing to worry about. I feel dumb, lol
