First egg from ameraucana had a little blood on it

Is this normal? It was only a tiny smudged droplet.

I would have to say yes based only on what I have seen on my pullet's first eggs. Each one of them has had a "smear" of blood on the first egg and the rest of the eggs have not had any. I would say nothing to worry about!

Most pullets have some tissue that tears with passing the first egg. Some is normal.

I have had two new girls lay in the last week. They both had smudges of blood inside. I guess thats normal? The eggs since have been fine.

Thank you for the answers, I figured it was OK but the first ones from my Reds didn't have any, so I wanted to check.
