I just wanted to post that a few days ago, we got our first egg from our new current flock. I'm such a proud chicken mama! There is something so innately beautiful about an egg. Right?
It is from our Easter Egger, Indy, which is surprising because I thought the Australorp would lay before she did. It's so nice to have our own eggs again!
