First egg on Thanksgiving!

I am grateful that we finally found our first egg in the coop this morning! Woohoo! I'm sure it was one of the Black Stars. It is small, weighs about 1.8 oz. No cracks and not dirty at all.

I do have some pics, will post later. . . but I promise it really did happen!

Talk is cheap. No picture, no egg. Just kidding congrats & have a Happy Thanksgiving. Also, Thank the chickens for working on their day off maybe share your turkey with them. They love cranberry's.
