hey guys,
Yesterday I found one of my 19 week Rhode island reds in the nesting box for the first time. She looked like she was trying the nest out and was panting, which looked like she was trying to lay an egg. After about 30 minutes she left the nesting box with no egg. Maybe she gave up. She is eating normally and doesn't appear weak. She might not be egg bound, though has anybody had trouble with this?
