First egg

This morning I was doing my normal routine and let my gals out. After doing so I checked their nesting box and found a brown egg from my red sex link. Not sure what one is laying but I have 2 of them. My Easter eggers wil most likely be a few more weeks out

It was exciting to find. She didn't go to the nesting box so I placed a golf ball in there to help her out. I wasn't expecting eggs for another couple of weeks she will be 18 weeks old Wednesday.
