first egg

I have 2 White Chinese geese. always together but this morning one missing. Long story short I found her in the barn sitting as if she was injured; I rolled her over to ck. but she ran off and I found an egg, her first. Will she return and sit and lay more and hopefully hatch them? main question, will she return to nest?

I don’t think geese go broody on their first egg layed, unless this wasn’t her first egg?

She'll come back and lay more if she likes the spot she laid the first one in.

As for hatching you'll just have to watch and wait. Geese are really good at brooding and raising goslings.
