I just about give up on my girls for this year but to my surprise I had an egg waiting for me when I got home.
Question. Will this hen continue to lay eggs this winter? Can this motivate the other 3 hens to get busy?

Congratulations! Yes, she should continue through the winter, and the others are likely to copy her. Just don’t forget that new layers might stop after a few days, but start again a few days later as their bodies get into gear.

They are a little over 9 months.

Maybe, maybe not. We're just a few days from solstice, and although most of us won't notice the increase in day length, the chickens will.

I have 1 Columbian Rock, 1Buckeye, 2 Bar Rock.
Not sure which on laid it, but it was there when I came home from work.
