FIRST EGG

My son just returned from the coop with our FIRST EGG!

A perfect little green/blue egg! He held it up in the air and said, "I claim this as mine". I screamed, the kids screamed and DH laughed at us!

So, finally after all this waiting we have an egg!!! The EE's are 25 weeks old and my oldest girls are now 28 weeks old.

I got my first today too! (This morning....Australorp...25 weeks) I know how very exciting...I ate mine for dinner, poached
