Here's a pic of 4 eggs from yesterday from left to right, a Spitzhauben pullet egg, a bantam egg from Sebright hen, a Speckled Sussex egg, and a Leghorn egg. As you can see, the Spitzhauben egg is the smallest, and they are not a bantam breed. Their eggs will get bigger...the Sussex is 2+ years old and has always laid mediums. The bantam Sebright eggs seem pretty big for that tiny little hen.Wow!!
I got a friend that loves his eggs small and only buys medium size, because our store doesn't sell small.
He was crazy for my eggs, pplView attachment 1503494 ,till they got over 50 grams.
I would like to get some small egg layers, but I need another coop. GC
I love tiny eggs too! I hope to get more bantams and start a tiny egg company one day...
