first eggs laid - 2 in a day?!

Howdy!

Here's something amazing: we're almost 100% certain that our BR laid her first eggs today. Eggs -- 2 in one day!

I checked for eggs earlier today, and got 1 from our Sussex who always lays in the same corner downstairs. When I checked upstairs, there was nothing. Some hours later, when I checked upstairs there were 2. We know its not our EE since she lays olive green.

Has anyone else had a double egg day to begin laying? Just curious...

I can't remember which breed it was, but her first time laying she laid two in one day. That was the only time it happened. The first few weeks they are getting the "kinks" out. So you may find some interesting eggs in the near future.
