Yes my silky mix hen "Lucy" laid it. The other two havent laid yet or even shown intrest in the nesting boxes.

Congratulations! First eggs are always SO exciting...and waiting is SO hard, as you know. Yep, my pullets' eggs were super small, too. And most of them never really got to laying big eggs, despite laying for a few months. Now none are laying at all, and haven't been for a while, lol.
That's great your pullet started laying in winter. I see you live in Texas...is it cold there?

That's great your pullet started laying in winter. I see you live in Texas...is it cold there?

We have our days of cold and warm. In Texas if you don't like the weather just wait a second it will change. Lol

Congrats! That is great!
Mine keep teasing me. Someone is rearranging the nest box, and 2 weeks ago someone sang the egg song. So it should be any time now (I hope!).
