First eggs

I was eggstatic to find my very first egg ever last week from my 17 week old olive egger. Now I believe 3 or 4 are laying the most beautiful/delicious eggs! Thank you everyone that have answered my questions. We are brand new to chicken keeping so all advice is much appreciated.

Thank you so much! My kids are so happy and can’t wait to check for eggs each day. My oldest who is 7 tries to figure out which chicken lays which egg. I think she’s as obsessed as I am

Congrats! It’s so rewarding isn’t it? The first few were tiny, but gradually increasing in size.
