Hi All,

I got my first eggs this week. Yay!!!. Based on this pic who do you all think is laying. I have a blue wyandotte, 3 australorps, and 2 black sex links that are old enough to lay. They are still eating pullet developer, but must be getting enough calcium from somewhere because these eggs most definately have hard shells.

Thanks
Alice

Nice eggs. I always guess that a hybrid is the first to lay. They have a reserve of calcium in their bodies. When when they use that up the egg shells will get thinner. Time to give them a supplement or switch to layer.
