first experience with moulting

So how long are my chickens going to molt and have this slow down "(total stoppage!) in their egg production? They were born this time last year, and I noticed they started dropping some feathers a couple weeks ago and egg production has tapered off to nothing now. It seems just when I have a bunch of people wanting to buy eggs from me now, I don't even have enough eggs to feed our own family.

is there any chance that they are hidding a nest from you? When ever I have a big drop in eggs, I think that they are laying somewhere else.

However, I think mine are just starting to molt.
