Hello all, I am a brand new member, but have been reading BYC info for over a year now. We are attempting our first hatch. I have 60 eggs and two borrowed incubators with turners and one broody hen with which to accomplish this. My question is, without candeling, how soon can you tell if an egg is not viable? I understand that they basically begin to rot, but I am wondering how soon?
from Ohio. So glad you joined. By day 7, you can see veining, so by day 10 for sure.
