First hatch went in this AM! Humidity question! :)

So now I have taken ALL the water out of the little reservoirs at the bottom, let it sit a couple hours and STILL at 63.  I don't know how to reduce humidity any further...

Is that what the incubator is saying? Which incubator is it?

We have a new Farm Innovators 4250 digital with automatic turner. I took out all water around 1 and when I left at 4 it was still 63ish I believe. I stopped by school today to check and it was at 24% humidity!! I added a little water and guess I'll run by again later to see. I'm gonna have to live at school for the next month!

LOL!!! I am getting ready to set eggs for my classroom on Monday. And YES! I pretty much live at school while I am incubating

But it is worth it!! The kids LOVE seeing the process. I run lower humidity until closer to hatch time. I usually candle on day 7...you can see the veins pretty well at that point! I always have my own hydrometer in my incubator. A BYC member recommended Accurite hydrometer/thermometer to be a few years back from Walmart and it has worked well for me.
