Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
Well surprise,surprise. we got our first chick hatched about 1.5 hours ago. I thought I had lost the first six I put in the incubate. first time trying and we got at least one hatched. one day earlier then i counted on. i thought i lost them all, due to my granddaughter kept turning off the incubator a few weeks ago and i didn't know about watching the humidity. The question is if this is the only one that hatches will he be ok to be a lone.
