I got chickens 2 weeks ago. My coop has been a work in progress, and I still have a few more little cosmetic things to finish, but I got REALLY sick last week and my poor chickens suffered because the monsoons have been hitting us hard the last few weeks. I finished my nesting box dividers on the "shelf" in their coop and today, one of my blue laced red wyandottes laid the first nesting box egg of the flock!!!! I hope the other girls will catch on and stop using the dirt =P
