KInda worried, tonight is the first night for my chicks outside in their coop. It is going to drive me nuts for sure. I had a raccoon get in the trash last night and now I'm freaking out about my chicks. They have been out side during the day and we had a close in counter with a stray cat and he scared my chicks something awful raccoon's are another story. Looks like a long night for me of little to no sleep and a flashlight by the bed..On the up side, I did get their run done today and they seemed pretty happy with the extra room. Their coop is just an old rabbit hutch until this fall when we are going to make it larger and move them into a 10x10 kennel for protection and use their run like a tractor to move them around the yard. The chicks are only 8 weeks old so I still have plenty of time. Here they are right after we finished and turned them loose in it. They were so happy running and chest bumping and trying to fly. Love my happy silkies.
