First Night Out-In The Happy Hen House(Pics)

They are just six weeks old, and liking the new digs.
I was glad the cage I used as a brooder fit under the nest boxes.
They were in the run and loose in the coop for a while today while
the others were free ranging. I will miss the peeping in the house,
but was so glad the feed and waterer stayed clean today-I will not
miss changing and cleaning the feed and waterer 4 times a day.

In the pics I noticed a bell and a ball.... do chickens play with toys? I'm a new chick mom, 2 barred rocks, 1 buff orpington, 12 days old......

They ring the little bell on the bottom of the mirror and peck at the mirror.
When they were in the house we would here it and say to each other,
"the chicks must need something." They do peck at the ball a little. I do
notice it in different places of the cage. This is the fourt day in the coop,
and they are getting braver.
