First Night Outside

I feel sad for my ducks. They have been living pretty nice down in the basement. Every evening they would sit on the door mat, waiting to come in for the evening. But, tonight they didn't get to come in. I had an old rabbit hutch, which I had cut the legs off of so it would sit on the ground. This way the ducks can walk in and out of it. While they are secure, I imagine it will be a bit scary tonight, as we live in the woods and there are a lot of critters wandering about at night around here.

We were half tempted to put there pen back up in the basement for the night. I hope they make out alright.
