i have two pekins and they are so cute, tonite i was going to leave them outside, but the dogs went to barking, that set the guineas off, and when i went out to check on them they weren't happy, standing there waiting for me, looking totally lost- so i went and got one, usually they fight to be held, not tonight, she just settled down and muttered, then the other one who is more shy just waited to be picked up and laid its head down - and i thought they didn't like me....

They are such cuties- lovely looking ducks... I always get aprehensive when mine are spending the first night outside too.. and have false starts at it as well. Maybe you can try just leaving them outside later and later each night over a week to help them with the transition.

they are six weeks old this friday, yep they make me laugh when i look at those faces- i know- they told the dogs and guineas to carry on so i would come get them.... they are outside during the day- their run is inside the chicken run in a fenced off area- they should be fine at nite- but.........
