Well... it's not really the FIRST egg. The first egg was shell-less.
But this one is lovely! And from the same pullet, Olivia. It's a little hard to tell in the photo but it is olive colored.
She deposited it in front of the nest box I saw her in 2 days ago.
I was really looking forward to the first egg but it's kind of bitter-sweet. We are glad for the egg but are too worried about our other injured/ill pullet to be very excited.
