first pea egg ever few questions

today i got up at 6 to go fed an change the water on my little chicks an then went out side to feed my chickens peacocks an goats.for the last 3 weeks i have been looking for a peahen egg so last night i told my peas if they laid me an egg i would give them lots of sun flowere seeds. so i look in there big tire with hay an there it sat at first i thought my dad was tricking me again a few days ago he put a huge chicken egg in there hahaha.so i ran in an said dad did you put an egg in the peahen pen again an he said no why an i started to do a happy dance

. so now i put it in my canning room in the basement temp is around 45-55 degress an 45% hum how long can i save them up before i put them in my bator?i would like to wait like a week an hopefully save up 5-6 thanks debbie.

I gather my eggs everday and set them once a week so you could hold it 5 or 6 days and it will be alright.

Yes, its ok to keep eggs ,and set them once a week, thats what i do, turn them once each day .
