First POLISH chick

Well....our first Polish chick hatched last night. 9 left, all due today. The first hatched is yellowey in color everywhere including the head with black from the back of his/her neck to their tail. These are for DW and she really wants to know what "flavor" this is....anyone? THANKS

Sounds like a wc black Polish. The "yellow" on the body (except for the head, probably) will generally feather into the same color as the back. Good luck on your hatch!​

Yup, sounds like a White Crested Black.

They will grown into having a white crest a black body with white tips at the ends of their flight feathers. But eventually they'll moult out those premature flight feathers and the ones that will take their place will be all black. Like the rest of their body, minus the crest.
