I guess this is the first thing I’m supposed to do, learning how to post - I’m a millennial with no social media. Imagine that…

Anyways - in the middle of my first coturnix hatch. Thus far, 9 of 18 eggs have hatched. Two more are hatching.

One of the nine has the intestines half out, it was stuck to the yoke. I’m taking it hard because it was my first egg to hatch, OF my first hatch.

Any and all advice is welcomed.

Welcome! I have basically no social media too, BYC is pretty much all I have.

I recommend posting that chick in the ER forum. Here is the link: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forums/emergencies-diseases-injuries-and-cures.10/post-thread

Question: how do you find those sub-sites?
I don't know if you are using your phone or a laptop.
On the top of your laptop are brown links to the various pages. To find the different areas, you want to click on Forums. Then scan through the titles of the various forums to chose the location that best suits what you want to ask questions about or read about.
Click on that title and it will take you do all the threads that were created within that forum. You can also create your own thread within the forum by clicking on the green "Post thread" button near the top right side of the page.
