Hey Steve just wanted to also say congrats...I was at work the other day and picked up the Out Here magazine and read your article about S & S poultry.

Cool! I'm up to about 26 now. Ate the first 14. At what point in time do you start setting them aside to hatch out?

AT THE ONSET... MY 1ST BATCH WAS SET ON CHRISTMAS EVE AND HAD 100% HATCH. HAVE BEEN SELLING FOR 2 MOS NOW. BUT I SUPPOSE ITS AN INDIVIDUAL THING WITH EACH HEN/ AND BREEDING SET??? I CRACKED THE 1ST EGG OPEN TO CHECK FOR FERTILITY, ALL THE REST GOT SET. I DO KEEP ONGOING INCUBATIONS FROM EGGS LAID TO KEEP TRACK OF/ INSURE FERTILITY ON ANY EGGS I SELL... SO FAR ALL ARE 100% GOOD TO GO

Cool. I think I'll start checking my eggs and hopefully will only have a small omellete. Need to wait a week until my chicks are out of the bator.
