(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? A few weeks ago
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Four
(3) What breeds do you have? We are not to sure.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? The whole idea of the backyard chicken has always been something I have been interested in, just never had the room. Moved out of town and it gave me the opportunity
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I love to read about everything, going to museums and learning anything history related. I love to bake, but hate to cook.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I live six miles out of two towns with about 1000 people each. I have a wonderful eleven year old who keeps me on my toes. My husband works for the railroad, but is currently on short term disability due to a military accident. I have four cats, because I’m nuts, but they keep me laughing. I work as a librarian, so many books and so little time. We are very active with a few lazy days. We love the outdoors and exploring.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found you all from google and have noticed most of my questions have already been answered before asking! This group has been so helpful and I absolutely enjoy the chicken stories.
