Hi guys!

This is my first and not so easy incubating experience with eggs - my fault.

I put the first 6 ones in the incubator (Rcom 10 Pro) on the 24th of April, 3 silkies and 3 orpingtons (A - As and Ao).
Another 6 silkies on the 27th of April (B).
And another 2 silkies the 2nd of May (C).

Candling on May 1st:
3 silkies are developing (As), only 1 orpi is developing (Ao).
The 6 others silkies are developing too (can see the veins and etc).
_ 10 eggs growing up

Candling on May 4th :
. The 10 eggs from May 1st are still alive
. 1 of the two silkies I added on May 2nd cracked (for an unknown reason yet), the other one I'm still waiting until tomorrow or so.

So, I only have one incubator, I know it's not gonna be easy to deal with, but what should I do to make it better for the B and hopefully C hatchings when the first A is gonna hatch ? Do you think they can deal with the 65% humidity for a few days? Also the B eggs will probably live with 65% humidity for the last 6 days, do you think they can make it ?

Thanks so much in advance!
This is so stressful and exciting, and I wish I could make them all hatch obviously!

I personally do not recommend incubating eggs of different stages of incubation unless you have a separate hatcher. The increased humidity during hatching will affect the other eggs and cause them to have a poor hatch rate. It is really important to maintain the correct humidity during the entire incubation period.

That being said you have already started so you will just have to monitor the eggs closely to make sure the air sacs are the right size. This might involve decreasing humidity below the desired level when the others are not on lockdown so they can lose more moisture to compensate.

I wish you the best of luck and hopefully you have some healthy chicks soon!! Welcome to the forum also!!
