Hi,
I was think about adding some babies to my flock, but would like to try hatching them at home. A more uncommon breed that is hardy would probably be best. I've recently have had bad luck with Speckled Sussex chicks as all of them passed away
I would also like a breed that I don't have yet. I have two Black Australorps, two Easter Eggers, one Golden Laced Wyandotte, one unknown brown hen, one Rhode Island Red, one Black Star, two Barred Rocks, one Brown Leghorn, one Buff Silkie, one Partridge Silkie, and one White Plymouth. I'm going to be picking up some Sebright chicks next week which I am SUPER excited about!
Any suggestions on a hardy uncommon breed that would be a good first hatch? Thanks!
