My barred rock has been broody for 10 days so I decided to get some fertilized eggs. It's only been a few days that she's been sitting on the eggs, but now the temperature has dropped to 50 degrees. Unfortunately my hen hasn't left the nesting box in 3 days. Prior to the cold temperatures she use to leave the nesting box once a day to do her business, but now she hasn't had the opportunity to do so. Should I be doing anything to help make the coop warmer than 50 degrees or just let her keep her eggs nice and warm herself?
